ATTORNEY PROFILES
W. C. Wilson III
Mr. Wilson is a founding partner of the firm along with the late Henry Neel. The two men founded the firm in 1989. Cass is a life-long resident of Henderson, being born and raised here himself and now raising his own family here too. He is a husband and father of three children.
Cass received his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Kentucky. He is licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Indiana. Cass is also a Certified Public Accountant, which provides a wonderful background in the areas of law that he practices. Cass routinely practices in the areas of estate planning and probate, banking, business, and elder law.
While away from the office, Cass enjoys traveling with his family, hunting and fishing. He is also heavily involved in the community. Cass is the Vice-Chairman of the Henderson Community College Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors at the Community College. Cass and his wife, Debby, are also leaders of the Mission Community for Young Life of Henderson.
Charles Edward Clem
Ed joined the firm in 1990. Before becoming an attorney, Ed focused his education and career on accounting. He received Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in accounting from the University of Kentucky. Ed became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1987. He then proceeded to UK's law school, graduated with a J.D. degree and became licensed to practice in Kentucky in 1990. Ed is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and is admitted to the bar in Indiana. This educational background lends itself well in the areas that Ed now practices. He focuses his efforts on probate and estate planning, bankruptcy, real estate, and corporations.
While away from work, Ed enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Judy, have three children. He also serves on the Board of numerous non-profit organizations and spends his free time reading and working in his yard.
Joel L. Wesch
Joel was born and raised on a grain & livestock farm near the small town of Cayuga, Indiana (just north of Terra Haute). He graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette in 2001 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. Joel then went north to Valparaiso, Indiana and pursued a law degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law. Following graduation, Joel decided that he wanted to work and raise a family in a smaller community much like the one in which he was raised. Joel, his wife Jill, and his son Landon now live in Henderson and he joined the firm in August of 2004.
Joel focuses his legal practice in the areas of domestic relations law, social security disability/SSI claims, workers compensation, personal injury, and felony criminal defense. In addition to being admitted to the bar in Kentucky, he is also admitted to practice in the federal court districts of Eastern and Western Kentucky. He is a member of the Kentucky Association of Trial Attorneys (KATA), the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA), and the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (NOSSCR).While away from the office, Joel is actively involved in the community. He is a past President of the Henderson County Bar Association, is the Flag Chairman of the Henderson Breakfast Lions Club, has graduated from the Leadership Henderson Program sponsored by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, and Holy Name Catholic Church. Joel also serves on the Board of Directors for the Henderson Habitat for Humanity and Matthew 25 Aids Services. In his spare time, Joel enjoys playing the drums, flying RC Airplanes, and watching Purdue, the Colts, and the White Sox.
